Exam syllabus of the Russian Tomiki Aikido Federation

To Documents

Exams on the international exam syllabus of JAA are held in Kursk Youth School of Olympic Reserve. The exam results are acknowledged by JAA diplomas.

The present Tomiki aikido syllabus was affirmed by JAAs vice president shihan Kenshi Uno (8th dan JAA) on the 1st of August 2010.

The conventional sign * marks the syllabus sections which can be in/excluded from the exam or time intervals which can be altered by the decision of the examiners.

Sportsmen take childrens exams until they are 15. After that they have to take adult exams (the rank decreasing by 2).

  • After passing the 1 children dan exam, a sportsman receives the diplomas indicating the corresponding adult dan. i.e.: having passed the first dan exam the child receives the 2 adult kyu diploma.

The examination time and date must be coordinated with the examiner.

1st dan exam and higher can be held only under the supervision of the Japanese masters.
